Alakai stood up, and said, "I don't think I have to go anywhere..." he said, gruffly, a defensive tone in his voice.

Lark
"I'm not sure yet. There are rumors being passed. They said you had to meet a wolf at mystic rock." I looked at the alpha. "I'm sorry... Should I find more information?" I looked at him.

Anka
I looked at Alakai. I frowned.

"there have been no such sayings." he snapped. He nuzzled Anka, lovingly.

Anka
I looked at Lark in confusion. I stood up slowly. "Alakai... he wouldn't make this up. You did choose him to be beta for his honesty." I looked at Lark.

Lark
I nodded. "I've only heard this. If you'd like me to go instead, but the wolf insists on seeing you. The alpha."

Alakai grumbled, and took off. A few other wolves trailed behind him.

Lark
I looked at Anka.

Anka
I frowned.

Lark
"I'm sorry he had to go."

Anka
"Yeah... me too."

Lark
I walked in further and laid down by Anka to comfort her.

Alakai was running, and saw nobody, no wolf, rather, there. He stayed out, anyways, hunting, because of hunger. He was sure Anka might be, too.

Anka
"Did you lie?" I asked.

Lark
I looked at the fea. I replied honestly. "No. I'm sorry. But it was just a rumor."

Anka
I nodded. "Ok..." I looked at Lark. "When will he get back?"

Lark
"I really don't know." I looked at her. "Would you like to go for a walk?" I smiled.

Anka
"Sure." I smiled. Then my stomach started to turn. "Ow."

Lark
"What?"

Anka
"I'm not sure." I looked at Lark. I tried to stand. Nothing.

Alakai soon finished hunting, and headed back to the den.

Lark
"Don't tell me your pregnant. I mean come on... Alakai was gone for not even a day!"

Anka
"Lark..."

Lark
I nuzzled her softly.

Alakai soon arrived at the den. He looked around.

Anka
I laid on the ground next to a tree.

Lark
"Are you sure you are alright?" I looked at her carefully.

Alakai laid down on the ground of the den.

Lark
"Should I call for Alakai?"

Anka
I nodded slowly.

Lark
I howled loudly.

Anka
"How did this happen I mean I've only been alone with two males, you and Alakai." I looked at Lark.

Lark
"Sh..." I nuzzled her.

Alakai heard the howl, and howled back, soon going after her. He found Anka, and said, "What is it?"

Lark
I tried to explain, but the words froze in my mouth.

Anka
"I think, I'm pregnant." I looked at Alakai.

Alakai's mouth opened a bit. His eyes widened. "And.. By who...?" he asked, cautiously.

Anka
I didn't even know the answer to that one.

Lark
I stood there frozen in place. I looked at Alakai. I looked at Anka. "We don't know."

"Was it me...? Or...," the words didn't wantto leave, as he tightened his muscles, and snapped, "You." he looked at Lark.

Anka
I didn't speak. I didn't know the answer. I looked at Alakai. I wanted to say him. I wanted to say we were going to have pups, but I honestly didn't know. I looked at Lark.

Lark
"Alakai, you must understand, I would never betray you like that." I looked at the alpha.

Alakai growled. "I've never really trusted you..." he said, so quietly, that even he could hardly hear it. It was almost a thought, it was so quiet.
He turned a bit.

Lark
"Alakia..." I bit my tongue. I turned to say good-bye to Anka, but decided against it. I walked away towards camp.

Anka
I felt a rage of madness. "How dare you!" I looked at Alakai with fury. "Lark is a good friend. He would never intentionally deceive you." I glared at Alakai.
