Common-Law Marriage

Yes ik, random =) If you don't know what common-law marriage is, it's when 2 people get married without a ceremony or wedding. For example if both my boyfriend and i wanted to get married, we would just be married. Odd, huh? =)
So, do you believe or not believe in this?
btw i don't believe in it.

Definitely what Glam said... I mean, if you could just walk around declaring yourself married to whomever... My friends and I would be married to A LOT of people, because we joke around and say "We're married! That's my Wifey..." and we're all girls...
Though, I did call my best guy friend my Fianceé... So, yeah... By now (if I did beielive in it) I'd have to be wearing like 7 wedding rings...!

Yeah, i'd be married to a few people too.. lol. These are my reasons for not believing in it:

-Not all of your relatives and family would know you're married. =)
-A lot of people have "dream weddings" and want theirs to be special, why not have something special to remember when life is short?
-I honestly find common-law marriage a really lazy way of getting married =)
-Most people wouldn't believe you if you said you're married but didn't have a wedding..
-Legally, you wouldn't really be married =)
